Blessing of the Animals
Marian Grotto in the back of St. Francis Xavier Church 2057 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, FL, United StatesIn tradition within the Catholic Church, we invite you to bring your pets for a blessing. This is done around the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (his feast day is October 4th). Bring your pet no matter if they run, gallop, crawl, burrow, or fly! Invite anyone you know who has a pet. Please be sure your animal is restrained / caged and not roaming freely. Where: The Marian Grotto (in the back of the church) Time: 10:00 - 10:20 a.m. Please arrive on time at 10:00 a.m. as it ends when the last pet present is blessed.

Sacramental Preparation
Xavier Parish Hall 2050 Heitman Street, Fort Myers, United StatesSacramental Preparation is only for those students in their second consecutive year in the Faith Formation Program and in Communion 2 or Confirmation 2 Classes. These classes are also for 2nd grade students at St. Francis Xavier School and 10th grade students at Bishop Verot. Where: St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. We meet at Xavier Parish Hall from 9:00 - 11:15 a.m. and then we go to Mass from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
