Those desiring to serve in one of these liturgical ministries must:

• Have received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. (Youths interested in being altar servers must be at least nine years old and have received their first Holy Communion. Youths and their parents jointly fill out a single application. Parents must meet all the requirements on the application.)
• Attend Safe Environment Training.
• Undergo fingerprinting and background check.
• Believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
• Live a life of Christian faith and morals (charity, chastity, sobriety, etc.)
• Participate regularly in Sunday Mass at St. Francis Xavier.
• Be a registered parishioner at St. Francis Xavier.
• Contribute, as able, to the financial support of the parish.
• If married, be in a union recognized by the Church.
